Beautiful campground. The campground hostess was fantastic! She worked with us to change our reserved spot and was the first host(ess) to explain & offer American Beautiful Senior Lifetime Pass.
The BIG NEGATIVE- the road is too narrow! And the ditch/slant creating a huge headache when backing in with our 39 ft toyhauler. We had to move to another spot.

The maintenance of the park has gone down hill the last couple years. The grass was 6 inches tall around our campsite. There were mole tunnels everywhere. Branches hanging from trees. Nothing but weeds and creeping Charlie everywhere. Overall we are very disappointed and will probably not return until things change.

Howell Station is one of our favorite campgrounds. Always well maintained, clean facilities, and helpful staff. Fantastic bike trails that take you miles in multiple directions.

For the first time we camped in spot 100 over looking the river and dam. It’s so relaxing and interesting to watch the birds and wildlife then have a nice campfire in the evening ! The bath house was always clean which is so appreciated! Being able to walk and ride bike on a shaded path is a plus too!
