Check in was quick and smooth, sites were clean and the view of the lake was fantastic.
only negative is the lake itself has quite a bit more trash on the shoreline than I would expect.

Wallashuck is a really lovely campground with access to a 17 mile bike, walking trail which is about 10 miles to Pella. Trail repairs are going on so check on that before you head out!

Beautiful setting. Quiet environment. Ample spacing between sites. Very nice bathrooms (clean and well lit). Friendly volunteers/staff. First experience at an Army Corps of Engineers campground was very good!

The camp site was great and the bathrooms were nice and clean with plenty of stalls and showers!

The trees need trimmed at camp sites and the dump station. With larger, taller rigs you can't avoid some small branches hitting when you back into a site or go through the dump area.

Great campground. Very well maintained. Bathrooms were decent, could use a good deep cleaning in the showers. Be mindful of the ticks!
