No comment. It's a nice campground. Would be nice if they had some first-come-first-serve sites like they used to.

Received a friendly welcome when we checked in. That's always nice. Found our campsite easily. Nice sized trees provided good shade. Short walk to the shower house, which was clean but very sauna like. The next day someone propped the doors open. That helped cool it off in there, but also let the bugs in. Very large poison ivy patch by the shower house. Made a point to avoid it as I am very sensitive to it. Hope someone takes care of that before we return next season. We enjoyed our stay. Nice and quiet. Dark at night too.

We wish you sprayed for bugs. Every time we stay Someone gets Chigger bites. It can be very miserable.

The campground is great, the sites are not cramped and there is plenty of room between them. The lake is close and the stars are great at night.
My only complaint is the bath house. There is absolutely no ventilation, it is like a steam room all day and night to the point where it is oppressive. To add to the misery is the showers are not adjustable, they are a perfect temperature for a normal shower, not too hot or cold, but I would hve preferred the ability to have cooler water to cool off with.
Don't let ten minutes in the bathroom prevent you from enjoying this campground. I was there during the nationals and all of the campers were quiet and considerate.
Overall a really nice place.
