This is another great USACE facility. A bit smaller than some of the others we have stayed at, but equally well maintained. Nice boat launch just down the road next to the campground and although we didn't get out on Corralville Lake, it looked like a great body of water to explore. We enjoyed watching the huge flocks of American White Pelicans that cruised the skies while we were there. There aren't any trails, and the campground is a hub for fisherman and boaters for the most part. It's great that there is a fish cleaning station near the boat launch also. The showers were clean and had great pressure. It's an easy drive into North Liberty or Corralville for supplies also. The road in was easy for us to navigate with our 42 foot class A and dingy vehicle, and the interior roads are paved and also easy to navigate. Pads were all gravel and we had enough room for our motorhome in our 50 foot site. Water is available at the dump station when you enter the campground so fill up there as there is no water at the sites. 30 amp power was strong and we had no problems.

Nice little campground on the edge of the lake. Spaces 1-17 were nicely landscaped and well presented. Do pay attention to the site details. We were in site 13 and while it said it was level, my F250 and 35 foot Trailer were not all level parked in there.
Do be aware there are water taps at the water fountains if you need water, however, we brought our tanks filled.
Also, DO be aware that you cannot get to the lake from the first loop. You have to go down to the actual boat launch to get to the Sandy Beach.

The bathroom was a mess, camphost didn't pay much attention to the gate when it was open, nor was he very familiar with the facilities. Wish there was a better way to deal with no shows as our party had 3 sites, with one being quite a bit away from the other 2, and the site next to us never showed up. Would have been nice to be able to move them next to our camper.

Idem gem of a place. It is very peaceful. Don’t expect full hook up there but we didn’t mind because it keeps the Karens and Richards away.
