This was a last-minute stay (and our first one at an Army Corps of Engineers campsite) and it was a beautiful experience and place! We would camp here again if in the area. Thank you!

There is no beach, just weeds. No swimming area at all. Grandkids were very disappointed.
One container for garbage and it is at the entrance, not convenient.

Very nice pleasant campgrounds. Well maintained, but some trees can use trimming on the roadways. Would also be nice if there were more than one place to collect trash. Not having cans within easy walking distance encourages campers to just burn what they discard. also in your cell phone question, you do not mention the company that many use in this area, US Cellular. Very poor signal.

Visited Amanana Colonies and had great pizza at Big Grive Brewery in Solon.
Relatively close to trails by lake, Osprey & Woodpecker trail. Enjoyed visit to Devonian Gorge.

It was a beautiful site, well-kept park. Quiet, about 1/3 full during the week. Easy to get to, and overall just a great time.

Great campground. Could use better cell service as signals are weak all over the grounds. sure would be nice if there were more than one location for garbage disposal. There used to be cans located throughout the grounds, but now there is only one dumpster near the entrance station. Kind of a long haul for those who have to walk it up, and more chance of animals getting into bags left outside
