Campground was nice and quiet. Showerhouse was clean. Staff was very friendly. I wish they had more full hook up sites and that there was access to go fishing from the campground. You can see the lake, but there isn't a path to walk down to go fishing.

The restroom was clean and the campsite was well maintained. Very quiet at night! My only complaint was our campsite was very sunny, but that was my fault for picking that one

This is a beautiful, well maintained campground, each site has plenty of room, lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs, and fantastic views overlooking the lake.

Sandy Beach is no longer the great campground it used to be. It has been taken over by homeless people who live in their trailers, or live in their cars, and traveling workers who don't want to pay for motels. People drive into the campground to use the restrooms and showers but don't camp there. No one enforces the rules, so people park their boats where guests are supposed to park. People drive the wrong way on the one way loops. We even had huge groups of 10 - 12. where as many as 4 tents were erected encroaching on OUR campsite! Then, kids walking right next to our car and camper. Then, staying up until midnight making noise. The camp host and the Park Rangers do nothing to stop them. I don't think we'll be camping here anymore.
