I spent two nights a few days apart this trip as I had to return to have a repair at my prior stop. I stayed at site 9 and 17. I usually stay a couple of times annually and have always found the sites clean, well maintained and most are reasonably level. The camp host is helpful and pleasant. The tank dump area has always been clean and the dump water hoses maintained well. Cell service on my Verizon network is good. I do prefer entering the campground from Shueyville as those roads are all paved. The route in from Solon is partially dirt road and can be very wash boardy or dusty depending on the weather.

Far better than any private campground I’ve stayed in. I do wish the gate keepers were allowed to register campers who arrive with no reservation.

Very clean; nice water views from many campsites. Beware the Google bike route to Solon - there are several miles of gravel roads on the short route.

Great place to camp if you want to do water activities - boating, rafting, skidoo. Most of the spots were a bit too close for my liking. And if you have a bigger RV some are difficult to get into. Perfect for a smaller camper though. Would be nice if a fee hiking trails could be put in. Or other activities. Possibly a larger playground.
