Timberline RV Campground

What an amazing weekend I had here at Timberline! I rented a small cabin, perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. We were able to shower, store refrigerator goods smart TV with wifi so our Xbox and dvds were not needed. We had our own patio and fire place. There's a pond to fish and even a gift shop! All around perfect weekend way better than a hotel room. Will definitely be back!

Marta and company have created a wonderful family oriented campground. We chose Timberline for a family getaway with our kids and grandkids for the holiday weekend. The littles had a blast with all the activities provided. We appreciated the ice deliveries to our campsite and cabin in the hot weather. When we noticed two unusual charges on our card after the visit, Marta was quick to refund the inadvertent charges. We’ll definitely be back.

I hesitated when we arrived. My 7 pound dog (I was carrying her) was not allowed in the office. All the way across the country twice and that was a first. A young man wearing a “staff” shirt offered to stay outside and play with her while I checked in. I opted to stay outside and let my husband take care of it.
The grounds have a charming Airstream area. It was clean. The showers were hot and also clean. The people were nice.

We had a major problem with our RV, and the owners and staff at Timberline West RV Campground went above and beyond to help us. They were incredibly gracious, caring, and helpful during a very stressful situation.

Thanks to their kindness, everything worked out, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful stay. It's rare to find a campground with owners and staff who truly care about their guests the way they do.

If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Campground is easily accessible from I-80. Located with quick access to Des Moines. Clean restrooms and laundry facilities. The camping spots are spaced appropriately for big rigs and roads are well maintained. Overall it is a well maintained campground and we enjoyed our 4 day stay.
