We really liked this park; the river is great for kayaks and swimming; could use a little more shade where we were but nothing to complain about. There was a nice mowed grassy lawn from our site down to the water's edge. Will go there again some day.

I have visited this campground numerous times and always enjoy our time spent here! It's peaceful and almost always quiet. During waterfowl and deer season it can be a little noisy but not bad. The trail at the campground is in poor condition and definitely needs attention. But the trails over by the dam area are well worth using. Beautiful views and rock formations! Fishing at Card Creek is good, there is a boat ramp and big parking lot and there are boats there daily as well as people fishing from the shoreline.

Another great COE campground. This park is very clean, the sites quite large and well spaced. Clearly the camp host takes his job seriously and is doing a great job. The main attraction is fishing as the campground is next to a boat ramp. We just spent the night and it's an easy in and out. There are spots for any size rig. We would stay again.
