What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park offers a mostly positive camping experience with clean and well-maintained sites that provide a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, such as power and water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and cleanliness of the facilities, including the bathrooms, although some have noted the need for updates and better maintenance. While there are concerns about overgrown areas, dead trees, and occasional issues with neighbors, overall, guests enjoy the park's beauty and express a desire to return.

This was our 4th time here and the 3rd time at Cherryvale that once again we couldn't use the beach. This time because of blue green algae. I understand that but maybe an email letting the people know before we take our kids once again in 90° and no water time. The first time was because of flooding. Last summer it was because of Covid. The playground was open with 6ft distance signs but the big swim beach area was closed. Absolutely ridiculous. Sounds like they were just lazy and didn't want to deal with the beach. Campsites always need to be mowed too. May or may not give it another try.

This was the best campsite, if not the most scenic, I’ve been to on this trip even if the water was off limits to swimming due to algal blooms. Super clean, simple layout, nice showers and flush toilets. A nice playground for children. I can’t say enough good about it. Great night time views for stargazers.

Very quiet. Kind of hard to get to. Road going to Big Hill is narrow.

This is a very nice CoE Park. Full hook-ups, playgrounds for the kids (could use a couple of swings though), no problems leveling on Site #7...Would have had a perfect weekend, except for the gnats...they were so thick, they were swarming!!
