What Guests Are Saying
Cherryvale Park offers a mostly positive camping experience with clean and well-maintained sites that provide a peaceful atmosphere and good amenities, such as power and water. Many campers appreciate the spaciousness and cleanliness of the facilities, including the bathrooms, although some have noted the need for updates and better maintenance. While there are concerns about overgrown areas, dead trees, and occasional issues with neighbors, overall, guests enjoy the park's beauty and express a desire to return.

I rented one campsite for one night and then I rented another campsite for 4 days for 4th of July...didn't know that we couldn't shoot fireworks which is fine but our neighbors pulled up after our first night and they were rude brought dogs that barked all the time then we had somebody box us in when we were pulling in our campsite and come up and tell us because I lit a few small fireworks that they could kick us they were very rude and professional about it...we felt so uncomfortable about the way the whole situation and the way it was handled was that we packed up on night two and wasted our last two nights we were really disappointed don't know if we will be returning which is really sad because we love big hill and we've been there quite a few times

No showers in our loop. Some signs were missing. Couldn't see lake from our site. Alot of dead trees in our loop. Alot of bag worms in the trees.

Very quiet and peaceful! Campsites were clean and spaced far enough apart from each other it felt somewhat private. Site #2 was easy to back into. Power and water worked great the entire time we were there. Would come again!

We were very disappointed with Cherryvale this trip as it is severely in need of clean up and repair! Our site was completely overgrown with weeds and needed gravel badly! The step off from the pad was about 6 inches which posed a fall risk! We were told that the maintenance crew was very uncooperative and unwilling to help take care of the park. This was our last visit to this park!

It was very hot when we arrived (100+). The previous occupant was having trouble with both his truck and camper and could not pull out. The host lead us to another campsite quickly so we could get the air conditioning going. We were very grateful for his quick thinking and kindness.

Nice camping except we happened to choice one of the hottest weeks I think! Clean and well maintained. A lot of dead trees have been removed with others that probably should be removed. Still very nice place to camp.
