We really like Richey Cove camping, however the majority of dog owners DO NOT FOLLOW THE LEASH RULE! Many dogs running loose & some in groups of 4 or more. Although relatively friendly: these dogs do leave their LANDMINE droppings all over the park. Additionally, most dogs on a leash, when taken out to relieve themselves, are not picked up afterwards by their owners. For kids playing & adults walking; many dog-waste hazards await them.
It would be nice to see some enforcement of these rules to encourage safer dog walking & exercising. Leashed dogs do act protective of their masters/kids when loose dogs are around & this could easily escalate into a nasty problem.
Thank you for a lovely park; but please see to some dog rules enforcement; especially of the lease & waste pickup rules.
Thanks again: Clyde Owren

Bathrooms were clean. Neighbors were quiet. A quick get away to starwatch.

Richey Cove is a wonderful camp ground. It has great paved pads for your camper and a covered cement picnic table/bench. It is clean and very well maintained. Love it.
