Very nice people willing to help out however they can.

Hey Truck Drivers and all you LTL Carriers, the police in this town are issuing tickets to semi drivers for using the no truck route roads. These roads have businesses on them, and there’s no other way to get to those businesses except by taking the no truck route. If it is your first time into the city to deliver and you call the customer for better directions, they will instruct you to use the no truck route roads because there is no other way. Officer badge number 180 wrote the ticket. I will post a picture of what is on the city ordinance website.

What is wrong with this city?!?! We were traveling through and got detoured off the highway and got the run around. Detour signs led to dead ends or the detour signs disappeared altogether. This town simply made me mad with their ridiculous and poorly thought out detour route.

I have very little faith in the city of Garnett. Today I watched one employee painting lines while the guy 10' away was using a leaf blower to blow dust and debris all over the new paint. On more than one occasion I've seen 3-4 guys standing around while 1 guy works. That's not how a city prospers, they will hire people with fake experience and let them run rampant around Garnett. Don't even get me started on the joke that is parks and recs. The double standard inside this city is disgusting.
