What Guests Are Saying
Farnum Creek offers a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained campground with friendly fellow campers and great fishing opportunities at the nearby lake. Many guests appreciate the scenic views and proximity to local attractions, such as Abilene and the fish hatchery. However, some reviewers noted issues with unlevel campsites, tall grass, and inconsistent enforcement of rules, which could impact the overall experience.

We actually had one spot reserved and when we arrived we noticed that a pull through spot was open so we requested to change spots and everything went very smoothly. We like having the 50 amp hookups instead of just 30 amp. The custodial people are the best. The camp host is also very nice. We have been camping at Farnum Creek for over 30 years. It is one of our go to camp grounds. There are some changes that could be made, like more 50 amp hookups. A lot of newer campers are 50 amp and not 30. A lot of the spots need to be leveled out better, but overall it is a Great campground.

The sites at the bottom of the loop are horrible. Damaged my landing gear trying to get myself level. Left 2 days early on a holiday weekend.

Many dead trees and low lying branches which rub on the top of the campers.

Never stayed there. Did not know what to expect. It was just a lay over night on our way home from 5 thousand mile trip.
So pretty and beautiful lake.
Thank you.
