Our site was lakeside, level, amazing. Make sure you attach your water pressure regulator, the pressure is very high out of the spigot. Just couldn't get the fish to bite!

The campsite is very crowded with small campsites. Our water faucet was running constantly so the backside of our campsite was a giant mudslide that my kids and an adult from a neighboring campsite all slipped and fell in. It had been there long enough that it was growing algae and started to smell. When we spoke to the Park Ranger they were aware of the issue and upset it hadn't been fixed. The bathrooms were out of toilet paper despite the camphost always driving around on her golfcart and getting after people for any minor issue. Lots of people letting their dogs run around and saw more than one near dog fight break out and another almost backed over by a truck while we followed the rules and kept our 2 very well behaved dogs on cables the whole time, never saw anyone addressed about their dogs running around. The shower goes back and forth from freezing cold to scalding hot with no warning at all and no way to control it. I would not have booked a campsite here if I had known these issues and have no plans to return.

We always stay at farnum creek when we come to the lake. It’s a great campground. It’s just too bad the sites couldn’t be updated, made longer, more 50amp. Trees need trimmed so branches don’t scratch the top. Need a fish cleaning station.

A beautiful park for a stop over. Nice sites in loop A, where we were. Not much to do in the area but very relaxing.
