West Rolling Hills is not as nice as it used to be. Before the flood it was our “to go” spot. This time I was not too impressed. There used to be a lot of green space to spread out on. I don’t know if that much of the ground eroded from the flood, or what, but the spaces are definitely smaller. They lost a lot of shade trees as well. I didn’t notice any new ones planted.

Great area to camp. Great views. Camp grounds crew keeps area picked up and cleaned. Just needs a gate attendant so unpaid guests can’t overcrowd the area.
