Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. No fire pit at this spot even though it says fires allowed.

I can't say it enough, we are so thankful to be back on Cottonwood Point! Thank you for getting that open. Apparently, camp hosts are of the past, therefore please list a contact number when an issue arises such as four-wheelers on racing near the community campsites, tent campers on the walking trail, or other concerns that arise needing attention. Thanks for all you do!

There is no camp host and apparently no maintenance personnel. Nothing is being kept up. The play grounds are full of weeds. Actually the whole camp ground is getting run down with weeds. It is a shame because at one time the camp ground was a nice place. There is a great trail but like the rest of the camp ground it is not being kept up. There are fallen trees making the trail impassable. The RV sites are nice. They are spaced out nicely. It is quiet and I feel safe.

I was disappointed that there was no camp host at cottonwood point. Also disappointed that we could not reserve site 099 or 101 except 4 days in advance. This is unacceptable to me . We camp during the week an they are our favorite sites. The system should be no different for these sites as other. Level of service has declined

As usual had a good time except for the weather, which couldn't be helped. However, we noticed several spots that were supposed to be reserved with no one in them. This kept us from having spots that we preferred. I think that if a spot us reserved, then that person should have their camper there, or if they cancel then they get no refund. It is agravating to see an empty spot that showed reserved then no one is there which kept us from getting that spot. This whole policy needs reviewed. If you reserve a spot then be there or lose your whole reservation fee. If the reservation is cancelled, then show it as available on your website. We saw several empty spots that showed reserved with no onne in them.

Very nice area. We stayed three nights. Needed to move from one space to the other as we could not find a space to book for three nights in a row. The spaces which were supposed to be occupied were not taken and were left open which is annoying.
Good to relax, to fish and to hike. Children find wide open space to play around.
