What Guests Are Saying
Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, well-maintained facilities, and friendly atmosphere, with some returning frequently for the calming experience. However, concerns about infrequent mowing, maintenance issues, and limited restroom access have been noted, suggesting areas for improvement.

Cottonwood point is our go to campground. We’ve been camping there since the early 80’s. Now that I have the senior discount and the reservation app it is easy and affordable to camp here. I love all the new camp sites with full hookup’s but I still have my favorites in the old sections. Would love to see the restrooms in the old sections get renovated like the ones in the newer sections.

nice campsite but campers ahead of us left unburnable trash in the firepit.

Camping was very nice, site 31 was a nice spot. Bathroom and shower buildings need some work, smelled moldy and even the newer one didn't have any hot water in the women's side. Need to spend some of the fees collected for camping on maintenance of the facilities.
