Enjoyed out camping site. Lake level is up and water is easy to access. Bathrooms were open and general condition were OK. Only bathroom with a working shower was in the newer section. Two closer bathrooms with showers weren’t operational. One had water knobs removed and bathroom in main central area of park was closed, blocked from use. Lawn was mowed and campsites were fairly clean. Trash deposited in fire rings was not removed- old diaper.

First time camping at Marion Reservoir. Booked campsite #5 because of shade and proximity to a shower house. Upon arrival and after setting up the campsite, became aware that the shower house was closed. Inquired of the volunteer host who indicated that the shower house had been closed for the entire season. Forced to change campsites. Recreation.gov has no alerts for Marion Reservoir. This shower house situation should have been posted as an alert.
Despite the above, Marion Reservoir is well maintained. The alternative campsite and shower house were both very nice.

The ground isn't even so it was a pain to get my camper even. But a decent spot close to the water and bathroom

We have stayed at 5 or 6 different sites. Some more than once. We like the full hookup option. With sewer water and 50 amp. The shelters over the picnic tables are a plus. The sights are larger than most other lakes in the area. It’s usually mowed fairly short also.
The blue green algae is a problem sometimes.

Love this area, very clean and mowed. Tables are on concrete slabs with covered roofs. Quiet and peaceful.
