Site 101 is large long pull through. The sites in this loop are well spaced. 101 was extremely unlevel and it was a struggle to achieve level. Too unlevel for our Anderson levelers. Surface is gravel. Utilities work well. Covered picnic table on concrete patio is so very nice. Shower house seemed well maintained though we didn't use it. Grass could have been a bit shorter. We love this campground but really miss gate house workers and camp hosts. I had a question that needed an answer before we headed to the park but no one answers a phone, it seems, so we just hoped for the best. Park rangers drove through periodically. Nice quiet place to camp even when there are many folks camping. Customer service is declining some, though, with no gate house workers or camp hosts.

Marion Reservoir is one of our favorite camping destinations; we host an annual family get-together there each fall. The mowing crew had the grounds looking great and we appreciated patrolling by the Marion County Sheriff's officers.

Our only suggestion is that you consider turning on at least a portion of the security lighting in the newer part of the park.

The camp grounds were clean and spacious! We're coming back soon! Just wish the bathrooms/showers had an exhaust fan. Otherwise PERFECT! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
