What Guests Are Saying
Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, well-maintained facilities, and friendly atmosphere, with some returning frequently for the calming experience. We stayed in #62 and it was absolutely wonderful. Very large area. Perfect place for our tent under a big tree. Short walk to bathroom. Bring flashlight after dark. No lights inside. This spot. Is next to the boat dock by about 40 yards. It can be busy at times but we loved the people watching .

The campsite was excellent! I always enjoy camping at Marion Reservoir. There were a few things that made it not quite as good this time though. The bathroom closest to us had NO LIGHTS! inside or outside! We had 3 women camping and no lights. The next bathroom had no lock and the door wouldn't close all the way.

Good site close to the water. Nice accessibility to bathrooms. Tree cover is nice as well as being an end lot has extra room.

Great spot on Marion Reservoir. Site 42 was a little steep, front to back which made leveling the camper a little tiresome but all in all, it’s a great spot with great access to the water!!
