Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. With a camp host this would help improving getting campsites. There was no camp host at Cottonwood Point. Making reservations is an issue for some camp site you have to wait four days before you want the site. Then there were camp sites reserved but no one were using them.
This is a great camping area on Marion and we like to camp there with our friends.

Great view of water, plenty of space between campsites, quiet setting with beautiful trees. Nicely groomed paths and clean facilities- recommend it 100%!

Site was well maintained, hook-ups functioned as they should.
Park Rangers are outstanding, they regularly patrol the area and keep a watchful eye out.

Spot 21 was way to small for our 30 ft camper could not fit in this supposedly 35 ft spot. We had to buy another spot. Please check spots and reevaluate descriptions. We wouldn't like a refund since the page wasn't allowing us to cancel

Loved the campground but was disappointed that men's showers worked so poorly. It was a stain on an otherwise very nice experience.
