Considering the high lake water levels before/during our visit the campsite/campground were in remarkably good shape and all hookup amenities in working order.

There was a major leak at the water source. The water pressure was low into camper. The leak made it very wet at the back of camper.
Else the campsite was good and we enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing.

Camp sites are. Overgrown and in disrepair. We had to bring our own mower and clean up campsites. We have never seen it like this. We go out often and have had to mow our own sites. Grass and weeds were up to my knees. Why aren’t they taking care of cottonwood point? Who do we need to complain to? It’s a federal recreation area!

Nice corner lot with lots of room. Site was level and easy to back into. There was not much shade for the camper but the surrounding area is full of trees. Wasps seem to be a huge problem at cottonwood point, every spot we have stayed has been overwhelmed with them. The grill was filthy and full of wasps as well.
