I reserved 2 sites. At set up time someone was in our campsite. The volunteers helped us get 2 other sites so we could camp out. The volunteers were wonderful people.

The shade at the campgrounds were excellent, the patios and picnic tables were good. The nearby shower house was completely closed and there was no mention of that online anywhere. Flushing toilets were close enough, but it was about half a mile to the nearest showers.

Good distance between campsites. My site sloped from back down to front more than I like but it was acceptable electric, water and sewer utilities were all excellent. Loop had been mowed recently. Public restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Trash dump area was also well maintained.

Mowing and maintenance was unacceptable. Didn't see the rangers come thru on a regular basis. Electric and water are having issues at several sites. Can't get ahold of them but phone unless your lucky.
We appreciate having canopy's over the patios.
We don't like the waiting 4 days to make a reservation.
Thank you for listening.

the campsites were clean and accessible. One complaint we had was the water faucet we normally use to fill our tank was off, with no signage indicating that, before we got out hose etc. We had to find another one. It was also hard to find showers that were close and working.

Camp site was well kept, hook ups functioned without issue.
I appreciate the numerous campsite area patrol drive throughs by the COE Rangers and Marion County Sherriff Deputy's.
Continuous area monitoring by the maintenance crews was evident and appreciated as well.

First off, there is no shade. Next, the site is extremely rocky and slopes off so that we didn't have enough blocks to stabilize the back of the camper! Lastly, there is POISON IVY between the site and the lakeshore! We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but left after 1 very hot day and night. I do not recommend this campsite.

We heard the showers were close for 2 years in our area. The roads were very good. The view from our site of the lake was nice and easy to get to the beach. The dump station was easy to get to. The hose was missing end piece.

This is a great spot, lots of room for a dog to run. The only concern is the bent canopy.
