Very disappointed at the mowing. We have been camping there for several years the same area , the grass was over knee high in some places and the camping spots were ankle high ! They used to come out once a week and now we have been told it’s once a month !!! They said the last time it was mowed was the week before the 4 th of July in June very very disappointed!!

I want to leave a bad review so I can have the place to myself. But I can’t. The RV sites are well maintained, well spaced and most have easy access to the water. There’s also a hiking trail at the north side of the reservoir that’s fantastic in the spring but a bit worse for wear as the season gets on due to ticks and tall grass on some portions of the trail. But if you’re looking for boating, fishing or just relaxing by the water with a good book this is one of my favorite places to be!

There were no cleaning stations for the camping kitchen. Otherwise the sites were large with tons of space and clean. There was a large flock of Canada Geese that roamed the campground with a fowl attitude and pooped copious amounts, but not much that could have been done about that.

Site #107 is an excellent location for cool breezes off the lake and privacy on one side with space for canopy's or tents. The clean bathhouse/ restroom is very close by. The trees across the road block the late afternoon sun making it nice to sit outside. The only drawback is that the water connection pipe leaks up from underground and floods the area at the back of the site. It needs a maintenance repair. But even with that issue we will return.

The campground is ok,it is clean and well mantained, but could be better if lighted at dark,at least around the showers and restrooms

The picnic table and over hang is in need of several repairs. The water connection was leaking several gallons of the 5 days we spent there. The drive has a very steep drop off and when backing our RV into it, was a little hairy to say the least. This was the first stay there that we didn’t have to mow. That was due to lucky timing.
