Cottonwood Point is praised for its beautiful, clean campsites and scenic views by the lake, making it a great spot for water sports and relaxation. Many visitors appreciate the spacious sites, well-maintained facilities, and friendly atmosphere, with some returning frequently for the calming experience. However, concerns about infrequent mowing, maintenance issues, and limited restroom access have been noted, suggesting areas for improvement.

Cotton wood point is a very nice campground, well maintained, and well laid out. Power posts were new, and the staff was very friendly. Only drawback was that the shower water was cold. Very cold. And they said there was nothing they could do about it. (Coldest showers of any Corps or state campground I've been to.)

I want to comment on the up keep of the grounds which is very good. The lots are nice and roomy, really loved that part as we live in the country anyway, so we don't like to have the crowded feel.
Enjoyed our 4 days very much and will be going back soon.
Thank you for such a nice park.
