The shade at the campgrounds were excellent, the patios and picnic tables were good. The nearby shower house was completely closed and there was no mention of that online anywhere. Flushing toilets were close enough, but it was about half a mile to the nearest showers.

I reserved 2 sites. At set up time someone was in our campsite. The volunteers helped us get 2 other sites so we could camp out. The volunteers were wonderful people.

The campers on site 18 were making a lot of noise late into Saturday night, September 13th. So much so that the Sheriff was
there talking to them as they were leaving on Sunday morning.
The rest of my stay was great.

Not easy to reserve these particular sites. A good many people want them but having to wait 4 days before you want to camp makes it difficult to get the site you want.

Three years ago we reported that the light in the bathrooms near the boat ramp was out. Three years later the light is still not working after dusk.

The bathrooms were closed. The showers were closed. The bathroom by the boat ramp was open. But if you didn’t have a camper with a bathroom you were out of luck. I based my spot off of the bathroom being there by the campsite. The one I booked by was closed and that messed up my plan having kids there with me as well. Also the brush around the waters edge needs cleaned up some. Could barely get to the water from the camp spots.

One of our go to campgrounds. Onlly issue is the old section (1-91) bathrooms need major upgrades.

The sites worked out great for our family campout - close to the water which the kids thoroughly enjoyed and also close to the shower house. Space around us was also great for family yard games.
