What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites, many of which offer beautiful waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the proximity to the beach area and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and picnic tables. However, there are some concerns regarding maintenance, including issues with power, hot water in showers, and the condition of the entry road, which detracts from the overall experience for some guests.

Decided to spend a couple of days somewhere I've never been before and so glad I did! Got here right before the Labor Day holiday rush. Hardly anyone here until Friday afternoon and then it filled up. I was at site #44 and I believe it is the best spot around. Great views of the water, right around the bend from the swimming beach, great wind blocking, and large level site.

Nice location. Lots of campsites only have electric, no water or sewer. There is a sewer dump on the way out.

This is our favorite camping destination. You’re greeted at the gate by the friendliest people! The campsites are large, well maintained, and have excellent water access. We have a four-legged kid who camps with us so we really enjoy the large grassy areas for long walks. No complaints. We love this place!

The gate keepers were very helpful. They were there to help anyone coming into the park to find their spot and assist in any way they can. After high winds they would be out first thing in the morning picking up branches. I noticed them cleaning road signs, painting trash enclosures and making repairs. They were very kind and friendly and would stop by to visit. Park was always mowed and kept up. Not all sites had water but was available. It would been nice to have water spigot at least in the middle where we camped so all could reach them. We enjoyed our time there and look forward to being there next year.

It was a nice weekend, and we found a shady site. My niece and her husband came and camped with us. Glad you had the sites that had bees marked off, so no one got hurt!

Nice, fairly level, large, gravel site right on the lake with a covered picnic table area. Electric and water worked well. Both Hillsboro and Marion are interesting little towns. Pop's Diner in Peabody is an excellent place to eat. We would definitely stay here again.
