What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites, many of which offer beautiful waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the proximity to the beach area and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and picnic tables. However, there are some concerns regarding maintenance, including issues with power, hot water in showers, and the condition of the entry road, which detracts from the overall experience for some guests.

We rented Group Site 1 for our family outing. The facilites were great except that the restrooms need to be kept cleaner. The family enjoyed going out on the water with their kayaks. We were surprised that the area wasn't filled up considering it was the Fourth of July Weekend, although it was nice to have it quiet. It is a shame that it was underutilized, however. We would recommend Hillsboro Cove to anyone looking for a nice area with decent facilities at a reasonable price.

Sites reasonably level some very near lake. Water and electric were good. Dump station worked well and had good pressure for black tank flush. Spacing between sites was good. Park roads were showing signs of deterioration. No playground for kids but you could see where one had been located some time in the past. a lot of the best lake side sites are first come first serve.

Beautiful area. Far enough away from Wichita to be a bit quieter. Loved the number of spaces that are on water's edge. We WILL go there again!

Family had a great time at Hillsboro Cove. The facilities there are great. The camping sites were well kept. We didn't really have any issues. Camp host was helpful when we had some questions. I would highly recommend Hillsboro Cove and Marion Reservoir for fishing, boating, and camping.
