What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites, many of which offer beautiful waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the proximity to the beach area and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and picnic tables. However, there are some concerns regarding maintenance, including issues with power, hot water in showers, and the condition of the entry road, which detracts from the overall experience for some guests.

Clean park and friendly volunteers. Weather was good and saw deer, pelicans, blue heron, sea gulls, and other birds

Very relaxed. Of course it is fall so the campground was not very full.

Hillsboro Cove is our favorite local get-a-way with large, quiet RV spaces, some with waterfront. Restrooms and showers are always clean. Easy water access for boats, kayaks, canoes. The hosts are friendly and helpful.

We are new to the RV camping and we're very pleased with Hillsboro campground at Marion Lake. It is clean and very well maintained with a nice variety of back in and pull through sites . Will definitely be back for another stay.

The weather was horrible and completely tainted our experience. Will be back another time to try it out.

We camped on a windy, but quiet weekend. Campsites are well maintained and the east loop area has a very nice, modern bathhouse. Entrance roads are in need of some patching, but acceptable. Sewer dump station might be improved by lowering the rim walls to the sump a few inches. The height of the rim requires some ramps to keep the sewer hoses elevated so it will drain properly without lifting. We hope that the lack of a campsite host at the gate will not cause any dimishing in the maintenance and quality of the campgrounds. We saw the camp ranger several times during the weekend. All told, Hillsboro Cove is a nice campground and we will consider returning.

We were right off the lake, and it was beautiful. Well kept, clean, and level site. Planning on going back again.
