What Guests Are Saying
Hillsboro Cove is a well-maintained campground with spacious, clean sites, many of which offer beautiful waterfront views. Visitors appreciate the proximity to the beach area and the availability of amenities like clean restrooms and picnic tables. However, there are some concerns regarding maintenance, including issues with power, hot water in showers, and the condition of the entry road, which detracts from the overall experience for some guests.

Overall a good experience. One of the sites had no electricity but the website allowed us to book it. As it was not busy we were able to rebook at a site near by. Being unable to book more that 4 days in advance of our stay was the biggest annoyance. Great sites otherwise.

The lot we were in was a little too slanted, but we had a great weekend. Thank you

We love staying at Hillsboro Cove. The majority of the sites have their own private access to the water. Well maintained restrooms/showers and plenty of open area for walking your four-legged family members.

You need a check in protocol so legitimate campers don't get rousted out of bed at mi

We had a great time. There was no camp host, so you were kind of on your own if questions arose. The park ranger and county sheriff made rounds. We had no noise or rowdiness issues so that was a plus. Our niece was camped across from us and had no water hook up and then they had a water pump issue. The sites on either side of us though "reserved" had no one all weekend. It would have been great to have someone to discuss the availability of those sites and allow them to move to a water access site.
