Campsite was easy to fine and accessible. Each site is very close together and there is no privacy between sites. Bathrooms were available and clean.

We liked the small campground atmosphere, the cleanliness of the restroom facilities, the proximity of nearby parks and trails and the disc golf course. One thing that needs clarification tho is wood for the campfires. Our reservation specifically said to not bring in outside wood. We didn't, assuming there'd be places on site where we could purchase firewood. There were not. On a Saturday evening of Easter weekend we almost were without firewood for our stay. Thankfully the small town of Marquette was close by which, thankfully, had a small grocery store, which, thankfully, sold firewood. If you aren't going to allow firewood to be brought in from the outside you better be damn sure it's available to purchase at the campground area.

The road into the campground ends with an unexpected short, steep curve. We stayed in site #5 which is nice and roomy but site #4's picnic table was directly outside our back window. There are 4 coed showers which are great! The campground has lots of beautiful trees and is very spacious. Our fellow campers were all very friendly!

The campground and campsite were far below the condition we were expecting. Our site, along with several others had no site numbers on them, so we had to count and assume we were pulling in to the correct site. There were multiple dogs off leash, and people camping under a tarp stretched across between trees. Overall the vibe was one of destitution rather than state park camping. This was our next to last night of an 11 night RV trip, all stays in State Parks. This one disappointed, and we ended up travelling to a KOA for the night.

We had a good one night stay at the Riverside Park COE Campground by the Kanopolis Lake. The spillway adjacent to the campground gives the river flowing behind the the sites some good current. We would definitely consider staying here again if our travels bring us this way.

Great place, glad it's open so late in the season. We need more cool weather camping places.

Needed more places open in the cooler months! Freeze proof faucet at the dump station is all that's required
