Most of the sites are generously sized and level. While there aren't a lot of trails, they wind you past lake edge, fields, and forests. The camp staff is friendly and helpful as well. We're coming back!

I will say staying at turkey point is a no worry campground. The camp guard Bob and his wife is great if there is anything wrong they are right there to help. The maintenance man keeps the restroom and shower house very clean.

I make it out to Turkey Point a few times a year. Staff is always helpful. Restrooms and showers are always clean. Campsites are always clean as well.

Getting There
From Osage City, Kansas, take K-170 south. Turn east onto 301st Street and continue 2 mi. Turn south onto Indian Hills Road and proceed about a mile to Turkey Point Parkway. Follow into the campground.
Highway access
Turkey Point is accessible via K-170, which connects with other local roads. No interstate or major highway access is mentioned within 25 miles.

General
- Failure to be on site within 24 hours of your reservation check-in time will result in a no show status.
- A poilicy of the Corps of Engineers is to require all campers, including camping units, that camping at one or more campsites at any one water resource project for a period longer than 14 days during any 30-consecutive-day period is prohibited.
- Under the new reservation system, the Lakeview Group Camp (LVGC) is listed in the TURKEY POINT loop. The Turkey Point Group Camp (TPGC) is listed under loop TPT4.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
