Policies & Rules

Safety

  • No fireworks or explosives.
  • 1. We expressly acknowledge and agree that our attendance at the Premises and participation in the activities of the Campground may involve the risk of serious injury and/or death and/or property damage.
  • 7. We understand and agree that we may not bring illegal substances to the Premises.
  • 8. We understand and agree that the Releasees are not responsible for any personal item or property that is lost, damaged or stolen while we are participating in the activities of the Campground or on the Premises.
  • 9. We recognize and acknowledge that there are hazards and risks of physical injury or illness in attending the Premises and participating in the activities of the Campground and that not all such hazards or risks can be fully eliminated. We freely and voluntarily agree to assume the full risk of death, bodily injury or property damage, regardless of severity, that any of us may sustain as a result of our participation in the activities of the Campground or attendance at the Premises, howsoever arising.
  • Having full knowledge and understanding of the foregoing, I, on behalf of myself, my minor children (or wards) and all persons staying or visiting us and on behalf of our/their heirs, do hereby agree and expressly accept, acknowledge and assume all risks of injury, death, illness or disease, or other damage to ourselves, which may arise in any way from entering and remaining on the Premises and/or our participation in activities and/or programs in or around the Campgrounds and agree to voluntarily accept and assume any and all such risks as well as any risks not mentioned herein that are in any way associated with our participation in any Campground Activities.
  • We do hereby agree to release, covenant not to sue, indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from and against any and all claims, loss, liability, damage, demands, costs, penalties howsoever arising, for any loss, injuries including death, liability, damage or cost they might incur, including, but not limited to, claims arising in whole or in part by our negligent or intentional acts or omissions while participating in the activities of the Campground or attending the Premises under or pursuant to common law, regulation or statute, including, but not limited to, any claims arising
  • 12. Alcohol and Drug Policy: Illegal drugs are prohibited; alcohol must be consumed responsibly within your own campsite.
  • 13. Firearms and Weapons: Firearms, weapons, and explosives are not permitted on the property.
  • 14. Fireworks and Hazardous Materials: Fireworks and hazardous materials are strictly prohibited.
  • 21. Trash Disposal: Dispose of refuse properly by bagging it and placing it inside the designated dumpsters. Please do not leave trash exposed. No furniture or personal items other than trash allowed in the dumpsters.
  • 29. Not Responsible for Lost or Stolen Items: The property is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles, or personal injury or damage from any cause.
  • 34. Restricted Areas: For your safety and privacy, refrain from driving or walking behind areas marked as Restricted Areas.

Parking

  • No mini-bikes, ATV’s, dirt bikes, go-carts or any similar motorized vehicles are prohibited. Only golf carts allowed and any person operating one must have a valid driver’s license.
  • No sleeping outside in tents, sleeping bags, cars, or vans.
  • Washing of RV’s and vehicles is only permitted by approved vendors who specialize in the same.
  • Please read this document (the “Waiver”) carefully, as it affects your legal rights.
  • 2. Right to Refuse Access: We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests whose vehicle is deemed unacceptable.
  • 3. RV Standards: Only well-maintained RVs which meet management’s standards are allowed. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to vehicles not meeting these standards. Current liability insurance is required.
  • 7. Vehicle Parking: Vehicles should be parked only in designated areas. Parking on empty campsites or roadways is not allowed. Do not park or drive on grassy areas within the park.
  • 17. Allowed Vehicles: Only one RV and maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site during stay.
  • 22. Speed Limit: Drive no faster than 20 MPH on main road into campground and 5 MPH within the campground. Please drive carefully and watch for pedestrians.

General

  • No free-standing screen rooms are allowed.
  • Tent campers allowed in reservable tent areas only.
  • No structures may be erected on any site including clotheslines or drying racks, fences, awning enclosures and popup shade tents.
  • No clotheslines outside the RV; please use the laundry facility for drying clothes.
  • Please respect privacy; do not walk between sites—use designated roads.
  • No under-RV storage allowed.
  • No mechanical repairs, including oil changes, are permitted on park grounds.
  • No commercial business transactions or solicitation on any lot within the park.
  • No running of personal generators in the resort.
  • No EV Charging.

  • ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER, RELEASE OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY
  • The individual making this reservation and all persons staying in the campground with them hereby states and agree:
  • In consideration for myself, and all persons entering under my supervision, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at this Campground, agree as follows:
  • 2. We are fully aware that we are entering a natural environment and am aware of the risks and hazards inherent in our attendance at the Premises and participation in the activities of the Campground. We voluntarily, knowingly and freely assume all risks associated with participating in the activities of the Campground and entering the Premises,
  • 3. I represent and warrant to the Releasees on behalf of myself and all persons listed above that we are in good physical condition, able to safely participate in the activities of the Campground and have no medical condition that would make our participation in the activities of the Campground hazardous to our health.
  • 4. If any of us are physically vulnerable in any way (including pregnancy) or have recently suffered an illness or injury, we have consulted a physician before participating in the activities of the Campground.
  • 5. We consent to emergency transportation in order to obtain treatment in the event of injury to any of us and understand that this Waiver extends to any liability arising out of or in any way connected with such transportation.
  • 6. We understand and agree that we are expected to exhibit appropriate behavior at all times while attending the Premises and while participating in the activities of the Campground and agree to obey all local, provincial and federal laws, both criminal and civil. This includes, generally, respect for other people, equipment, facilities or property.
  • under law, howsoever caused, including, but not limited to being caused by the alleged or actual negligence of the Releasees.
  • We expressly agree that this Waiver and Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of Wyoming and the United States of America. The invalidity or unenforceability of any term of this Waiver does not affect the validity or enforceability of any other term. Any invalid term will be treated as severed from the remaining terms.
  • I have read this document in its entirety and fully understand its terms. We understand that we are giving up substantial legal rights by signing below, including the right to sue the Releasees. I, on behalf of myself and all persons listed above acknowledge that I am signing this agreement freely and voluntarily and intend my signature to be a waiver and complete and unconditional release of all liability due to the negligence of the Releasees or, the inherent risks of participating in the activities of the Campground or while attending the Premises.
  • This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
  • CAMPGROUND RULES & REGULATIONS
  • 5. Only One Unit per Site: Only one RV or travel trailer is allowed per campsite.
  • 9. Environmental Protection: Cutting, damaging, or removing trees and vegetation is prohibited; help us preserve the natural environment.
  • 11. Property Maintenance: Personal property outside the RV must be kept tidy and free from unsightliness or nuisance. Management may request removal upon notice.
  • 16. WiFi: We offer free WiFi during your stay.
  • 18. Site Changes: Any requests for site changes or transfers must be approved by the park office.
  • 19. Sewer hook-ups are provided for your convenience at designated resort spots. Sewer collars are required to create an airtight sewer connection. Draining wastewater or gray water on the ground is a health hazard and is prohibited.
  • 23. Supervision of Children: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and in all areas of the park.
  • 24. Swim at Your Own Risk: No lifeguard is on duty and all residents swim at their own risk.
  • 28. Assumption of Risk: Tenants assume all risks associated with camping and agree to hold the property harmless from and indemnify the property against any claims.
  • 32. Policy Changes: Management reserves the right to modify or add rules as necessary.
  • 36. Flooding: Flooding may occur in and around Mill Creek. In case of rising waters or flash flooding, you may be asked to evacuate your RV from your site. If this happens, staff will attempt to move you to a site on higher ground if available. If it is necessary to evacuate the entire park, staff will assist, if possible, in finding a temporary location or refer you to another RV park.
  • Prohibited Activities:
  • We have a small number of sites set aside for people who would like to stay on a month-to-month basis. However, campers interested in an extended stay should be aware that this is a recreational campground resort and NOT a residential community. No extended stays are allowed in the cabins. Please contact us for extended stay information.

Pets

  • No carpets or mats on the grass.
  • We are dog lovers and your pets are always welcome at our resort, however: Pets must not be left unattended outside the RV or anywhere else in the park.
  • No permanent outdoor pet enclosures.
  • Keep pets on a leash at all times and no pets allowed to be tied up on a leash without guest at park.
  • Pets must be kept quiet and under control at all times.
  • Aggressive and uncontrolled pets will not be allowed to remain in the resort.
  • Clean up after your pet in ALL areas of the property promptly and dispose of waste properly in trash dumpsters or locations designated.
  • Pets are not allowed inside any buildings.
  • Strict adherence to all pet rules is required. Violations may result in expulsion from the park without a refund.
  • Pets must not be allowed to snarl or bark at neighbors or passersby.
  • Pets must not be allowed to dig or otherwise damage and destroy park property, and the guest who is caring for the pet shall be liable for all damage caused by the guest’s pet.
  • Pet “accidents” must be cleaned up by their owners immediately. This rule applies anywhere in the resort boundaries, if not picked up can incur a $25 fee for management to do it for you.
  • Pets must not be allowed to enter neighboring sites.
  • 6. Restrooms/Shower House: These facilities are available for RV guests and visitors only. Please help us keep them clean by picking up after yourselves. Please do not allow strangers access to these facilities. No dish or pet washing in restrooms. Please do not dispose of diapers, wet wipes or sanitary products or similar bulky products in your RV sewer dump OR the restrooms.
  • 25. Liability: Owners/Management are not responsible for damage to property, injuries to residents, guests or pets, or for theft or damage to guest property under any circumstances. Guests and full-time residents are liable for all damages caused by all persons in the party at your site.
  • 27. Guest Responsibility: Tenants and guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children, and/or pets.

Smoking

  • No smoking in any park buildings or facilities.

Noise

  • Vendors and/or contractors performing routine non-emergency services are only allowed in the resort Monday through Sunday between the hours of 8am and 5pm
  • 15. Quiet Hours: Please observe quiet hours from 10:00pm to 8:00am to respect the comfort of fellow guests.
  • 20. Propane: Propane is available for purchase between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm and is located near the entrance of the campground. Please call 785-456-4494 if you would like to purchase propane.

  • As used hereunder, the term “Releasees” includes: Pretty Creek Contracting LLC, d/b/a Mill Creek Campground, (the “Campground” or the “Premises”), affiliated organizations, owners, members, managers, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns.
  • including, but not limited to, our own actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others (including but not limited to the Campground owners, officers, directors, managers, staff, volunteers or other guests and visitors), falls, injuries, illnesses, infections, contact with others (including but not limited to the Campground owners, officers, directors, managers, staff, volunteers or visitors), navigating any and all obstacles and any defects of the Premises.
  • 4. Registered Guests Only: Only registered guests are permitted to use park facilities and amenities
  • 8. Fires in Designated Areas: All fires must be in designated fire pits or areas, and only if a fire ban is not in place. RV guests are welcome to use their own elevated fire pit and barbeque grills. Our county is often in fire ban’s due to wind. Please check with management for current status on fires.
  • 26. Compliance with Laws: Guests must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • 30. Security: Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings; the park is not liable for theft or damage to personal property.
  • 31. Indemnification Clause: Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the park and its owners from any claims arising from their use of the property.
  • 35. Severe Weather: Severe weather can occur and it is important to monitor the weather during your stay. (Local radio stations are 106.9 FM, 94.FM or 580 AM). RV guests may take shelter in the underground shelter located near the shower house.

Check-out

  • 1. Check-Out and Check-In: Check-Out time is 11:00pm, and Check-In time is 2:00 pm. Please arrive prior to 4:00 p.m. if possible.

Deposit

  • 10. No Littering or Unruly Behavior: Keep the campground clean and behave appropriately. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior towards staff or other guests will result in immediate eviction without a refund. Management reserves the right to evict any guest whom it deems unsuitable or incompatible with other guests. Guest will be required to vacate the park at any time and for any reason without prior notification or refund.
  • 33. Incidental Fees: Fees for property damage will be charged to your credit card.
