We like this area although it’s a shadow of itself since the high water decimated the trees here several years ago. The camp host is very friendly and helpful and the views of the lake are beautiful. Most sites are 30 amp Water is good. There are very few sewer hookups. We’ll be back.

Small campground with fewer sites than it once had before the flood. There is still a lot of firewood available on the ground from the fallen trees that have died perhaps because of the flood. All the stites have a good view of Lake Perry. There are several other parks and hiking and biking trails in the area. The camp host tried telling me that e-bikes were not allowed in Corps of Engineers campgrounds. I don't believe that could be true. There is a lot of waterfowl in the area including migrating white pelicans. There is a Casey's convenience store and gas Station with diesel in Ozaki about a mile away. It has a good selection of adult beverages.

The campers staying next to us have been there a while, they were there 2 weeks prior at our first stay and again on the 2nd stay, music loud and arriving back at 1130pm banging on something outside and they do not pick up their dogs crap it’s all over where we have to walk to do our hook ups. I thought there was a noise curfew and picking up after dogs…

If you are in for great scenery, you are in for a disappointment. The lake had flooding in 2018, followed by 3 years of drought. The resulting damage to the trees along the lake was devastating. The landscape now looks like a post-apocalyptic movie set...piles of dead and broken trees amongst the sad stumps of what were once beautiful woods.
On a positive note, the camp hosts were very friendly and accommodating. There is a fantastic winery just down the road from the camp, as well as great hiking and a challenging disc golf course close by.
