Most sites are good size and well maintained. Good cell service so I was able work since I had internet through my hot spot.

When we got there someone was in our spot. We talked and they said someone was in their spot and the host never did anything about it. Another group came in the next day and someone was in their spot. It all snowballed because the host was to lazy to do their job. It was the last week before closing for the year so maybe the host didn’t care but by not doing his job the rest of us on peninsula c all were put out.

I love camping at Rock Creek.
I have a BIG problem with Rock Creek (Pensulia) closing the end of Sept. October is real camping weather in Kansas!!!!!!!
Even Slough Creek stays open to the 15th of October.
Please consider extending 2 weeks the open/close camping at Rock Creek.

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful campground. Sites are large with ours having 50 amp electricity and water at the site. Bathrooms are clean. We had one issue with another camper allowing their dog to roam free. We notified a park ranger and he promptly took care of that! Would recommend and will return.

It was a pretty good weekend. Unfortunately we can't control the weather to get outdoors and do more stuff.
