We did some tent camping at E07. That's been our go-to spot for many years. A few less trees now than there used to be, but that's why we picked 07. If you don't want open sunshine on your tent all day, there are still a few shady trees left. Nice flat areas for the tents. Good amount of picnic tables and fire rings with grates. Also, it was very clean, so the park crews and fellow campers are doing a great job of keeping the trash picked up. Another perk for campers is that there are bathrooms right there within 20 yards of the campsites in this area. The showers are a short drive up the road. Just an overall great spot to pitch a tent, and light a fire.

Would have given 5 stars but trees need to be better trimmed - dragging on RV roofs in some areas.

We found a quiet spot with a beautiful view of the lake that delivered a great experience each time we went. A nice breeze kept the bugs at a minimum, and the electricity and water provided some great options for our off-grid camping setup.

The view from the Rock Creek peninsula is unrivaled! The lake stretches left to right as far as the eye can see. The hills beyond undulate with thick green woods. The campground was clean and freshly mowed and it’s volunteers were very nice and helpful.
