We like to camp here. We had electrical issues due to the electrical boxes are outdated with inadequate power causing it to keep going out. The voltage coming into our camper was at only 113 Volts. The main breaker kept kicking off each day and had to reset by the rangers.

The showers just outside the gate were ICE COLD. I think I have hypothermia from it! Also the push button lasted 7 seconds and you had to re-push it. Itβs ridiculous!
Also donβt expect to get any cell service because you wonβt. This is a bummer because would love to be able to work from there but canβt due to lack of service.

Everything about your sights was good. We had a couple of dogs that were big and aggressive and running loose that we had to turn into Park ranger for they tried to attack my wife and small dog.

Every year at same time in may I spend a week -10days. Every year grass is 12'-18" tall. The explanation is the contractor mows every 2 weeks. During the spring that needs to be more often. My other suggestion is that A loop that has sewers should be reserved only for no less the 4 nights. People are reserving the sewer sites for 2 nights and it makes those of use that stay longer periods and when A loops are reserved we have to move to a site without sewer.

Grass is growing to tall between cuts. Rain making it hard to keep mowers on the turf.

I have camped at Michigan Valley for over 30 yrs. The last 5 have gotten slowly worse... and I struggle to camp there now a days.
I still love the campground. It is just not taken care of like it used to be. The grass is awful... and never mowed. I understand rain but its
funny I can mow my yard and melvern seems to get theirs moved but Michigan Valley... does not.. Also it is FULL of bugs and gnats anymore.
I have to pack a leaf blower of fan just to keep them off my door to get in. Its hard sometimes to sit outside and with all of them.
Plus.. NO ONE camping ever picks up their dog shit and there are lots of dogs. I love the lake... I love the host but these are my complaints.

Had G 04 had to move after getting all set up because numbering was confusing. Need to revisit your numbering system. Jenny and Buddy were awesome camp host. Enjoyed our stay.
