We come here often and always love it, however this time we showed up and found out the beach was closed due to dangerous algae. We ended up going to another lake for the weekend and were unable to get a hold of anyone or receive a call back for a possible refund. Obviously the algae was not their fault but it would have been nice to get an email informing us that it was closed before we got there.

The water is terrible we don’t drink it because even in coffee it is nasty .My biggest concern is the power grid it can’t maintain our meter shows it to be lower then then our rv should be operating on this can cause costly damage to ac units just for starters.Update or close we don’t be back

We like to camp here. We had electrical issues due to the electrical boxes are outdated with inadequate power causing it to keep going out. The voltage coming into our camper was at only 113 Volts. The main breaker kept kicking off each day and had to reset by the rangers.

The showers just outside the gate were ICE COLD. I think I have hypothermia from it! Also the push button lasted 7 seconds and you had to re-push it. It’s ridiculous!
Also don’t expect to get any cell service because you won’t. This is a bummer because would love to be able to work from there but can’t due to lack of service.

Everything about your sights was good. We had a couple of dogs that were big and aggressive and running loose that we had to turn into Park ranger for they tried to attack my wife and small dog.

Every year at same time in may I spend a week -10days. Every year grass is 12'-18" tall. The explanation is the contractor mows every 2 weeks. During the spring that needs to be more often. My other suggestion is that A loop that has sewers should be reserved only for no less the 4 nights. People are reserving the sewer sites for 2 nights and it makes those of use that stay longer periods and when A loops are reserved we have to move to a site without sewer.
