Well spread out campsites, very shaded, great for kids area to play. One awesome place!!

It was a great trip. We got to see many wildlife come near our camping site. We also didn't have cell service which was nice in way. It took the distraction of our phone away and was able to spend more time together. The site was great. It was shaded most the day. The shower house was nice and always clean. We will be returning to this area again

We had a wonderful stay. This is a great campground! The managers were very kind. Our only issue was due to a fellow camper, cigarette butts were left all over the ground. No fault of the campground!

What a beautiful area!! There's a nice walking trail right at the campground and the shower house was nice and clean with hot water. Would definitely camp here again ❤️

Attendant was friendly, bathrooms were clean. Camp spot was quiet.
Shower stalls don’t have anything dry to stand on after taking a shower.

Very pleased that upon arriving. But I did notice that space #1 was pretty muddy. The park employee was driving around so I explained that we were coming as a group and a family member had space 1 reserved. I pointed out to him the muddy area. He assured me that rock would be placed and spread. Before our family member arrived, he had followed through. Add that to our continued satisfaction while camping in the park. The only thing that the park does not provide is a cell service. It would be nice to be able to monitor our home cameras while we are there. Or to be able to make emergency calls. A part of every pre conversation is the lack of service. Being in our 70's something like a fall, could be deadly.

Getting There
From US 75 and K-268 junction, proceed east on K-268 for 7 mi, turn north on Pomona Dam Road and proceed 1/2-mile to 229th Street (just before dam). Turn east and proceed to park entrance.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.
