What Guests Are Saying
Outlet at Pomona Lake is a beautiful and peaceful campground with well-spread-out, shaded campsites ideal for families and wildlife observation. Guests appreciate the friendly staff and clean facilities, including a nice shower house, contributing to a pleasant camping experience. Although there is no cell phone service, many find the lack of distractions enhances their time spent together.

Outlet CG is a pretty place. 50 amp service has just been added and they combined two 30 amp sites to do it. CG host was very helpful and I was a needy customer. Our site #32 was not level; 4" front to back and 2" side to side....Lippert couldn't level our motorhome. Impact? Water wouldn't drain from the shower and water sloshed out of cooking pots. CEL PHONE coverage is NOT AVAILABLE except by driving 1/2 mi up hill to the top of the dam. The area was beautiful in the spring, but official "season" had not yet begun--so adjacent USACE campgrounds were closed. CG host was attentive when I asked for advice on other regional USACE CGs and then provided a refund. We camped at Outlet Park - Pomona Reservoir in a Motorhome.

We actually didn't stay at Pomona Lake, we mistakenly booked the Outlet Park at Pomona instead of Melvern, not realizing that Melvern also has an Outlet Park. We contacted the Park Rangers, and they showed up in person to help us get a place booked in the Melvern Lake Outlet Park. What a life saver and help make our weekend more enjoyable. Thanks for all your help and keep up the good work.

Getting There
From US 75 and K-268 junction, proceed east on K-268 for 7 mi, turn north on Pomona Dam Road and proceed 1/2-mile to 229th Street (just before dam). Turn east and proceed to park entrance.
Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.

Fires & fuel
- To protect forests, buy firewood locally and burn it on-site; do not move firewood from other locations.
