Wolf Creek Campground is located a few miles west of Pomona Dam Road on the north side of the Pomona Lake in eastern Kansas. The scenic park appeals to family campers, sportsmen and water sport enthusiasts. The reservoir covers 4,000 acres and offers excellent fishing and boating opportunities.

Very nice and quiet location, we were right by the water so it easy for fishing and could watch a beautiful sunset. We relaxed by the campfire in the evening and cooked some s'mores .

We were appalled that while rafting off the edge of the camping area, we encountered two fish that had been partially filleted and were not completely dead near us coming apparently from a fishing boat nearby. What a horrible practice!!!!! It was shocking and left a terrible dread.

I’m only giving 4 stars because the showers are horrible. Really need cleaned, no hot water after 30 seconds & it’s a push button turn on that goes right back into the wall so your water is on for maybe 3 seconds & then turns off. Other than that the rest of the campground was really nice & taken care of. Also quiet!

The site I was at D one has no shade. And isn’t quite level but is quiet and decently close to the water. Schauer houses are a little ways away.

From US 75 and K-268 junction proceed east on K-268 for 7 mi to Pomona Dam Road; turn north and proceed 2.5 mi across the dam. After crossing the dam, turn west on Wolf Creek Pkwy and remain on this road for 1.2 mi to the park entrance.
