Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place to go. Waking up to the sweet sound of birds singing is the definition of peaceful. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. For to pack a necessity? They have you covered. The common area is very nice. And while you are there, purchase some homemade jam and any of the other homemade items. The jam was delicious, not too sweet and spreadable. Whether you want to stay in a tent or small rental, I strongly recommend staying at HomeGrown Hideaways.

A wonderful place to take a time-out, with a unique array of accommodations. From a tree house, yurt and tipi to vintage campers and beautiful meadow tent sites. The marvelous community kitchen with a covered porch (a relaxing space to rock some time away with a book) and the community fire circle are great places to connect and socialize with fellow travelers/campers. A nice bonus is homemade jam, farm fresh eggs and veggies for purchase during a stay along with other thoughtful items to make time there even that much better. Another treat was being there for one of the concerts - Holler in the Holler held monthly. The hosts Jessa and Nathan are the best ! Much respect for the sustainable habitat they have created and work super hard to maintain for their guests. HomeGrown Hideaways is truly a remarkable, special and memorable haven !

So nice to disconnect and unwind with our young children. The treetop flyer was perfect. The three kiddos loved the loft and we loved having some space. It was truly an amazing space. Loved being surrounded by nature.
The Turner's are nothing but hospitable. Wonderful people and great stewards of the earth.
The farm is a hidden gem. Can't wait to go back!

I have to say I truly enjoyed my stay here. The owner was sweet and the yurt was awesome. The deck was big and spacious. The site had a private outhouse and was very clean. The location of the yurt feels private and was very quiet. Loved listening to the creek that runs around the side of the yurt and was very relaxing at night . I think the only thing lacking was a grill to cook on. Otherwise it was perfect.
