I'm biased because Beech Bend is basically behind our house so we buy season passes every year to enjoy the pool and water 😁 it's local and awesome and hope available for years to come. Try it out if you hate driving 500 miles to have a good time and be kind to our local business in the process.

Mediocre campground. Sites are close together and haven't been taken care of. Many have potholes and aren't level. A big rain occurred before we arrived so a large number of sites were flooded and completely unusable. The high price they charge just because it's next to the race track and amusement park is ridiculous with the poor quality of the sites.

We decided to take our grandchildren to the drag race and amusement park and this campground was conveniently located next to them, however it was by far one of the worst campgrounds we’ve ever stayed at. For one, we drove around the park for an hour trying to find a decent spot. All of the premium spots were taken by permanent residents or by employees of the park, which is crazy. It appears some of the residents have been there for years and have accumulated so much stuff it looks like a run down trailer park. Most of the water connections were literally above the electric boxes creating a safety hazard. Our 30amp connection was charred, rusted and corroded and unusable. The electrician stopped by and told me that most of the sites had the same problem. We found a broken crack pipe on one of the sites, which is unbelievable. If it wasn’t for the attractions located nearby, I don’t see how this campground could stay in business.

Stayed in the campground for NRC.A.
Easy entry , clean, and well maintained.
Easy hook up for electric. Cost $160 for 4 days. Includes 4 guests, one car. Friendly, safe environment. Bring your scooters or wheelies
Also Music 🎶 on the weekend .

We decided to stay during Thanksgiving weekend for something to do with one of the kids and his 10 yrs. old son, thinking there was an entertainment park for the little guy to enjoy.
I did ask if the camping ground was open, not understanding the amusement park was separate from the camp grounds.
Unfortunately nothing was open for him.
The Camping Area:
The sites are drive through and the roads are easy to drive on. The views by the water are nice and back towards last row.
The lady at the office was pleasant, helpful and friendly.
It was $75 off season with nothing to do: more expensive than I'd like to pay considering there's nothing open except the camping park.
Our 10yr. old grandson said if everything was open it would be more fun but he still likes it here and wants to return.
They have limited 50Amp electric spots for a 30' RV with water and sewage, so come early to get one.
Most of the spots have water and electric hookups from what I can tell as well as a couple of little cabins.
The area looked a little worn for the use but possibly due to the winter months.
We stayed inside most of the time due to rain and cold but this didn't really hinder us because it was a quiet and decent stay.
We'd like to try this park again during the warmer weather.
All in all if the weather was warmer and dry it's a place for the traveler with children to enjoy an amusement park, racing, some fishing possibly, and a place to walk and enjoy the outdoors a bit.
If you're a senior and just want a quiet get away during the off season, this could work. Go back to the back row for the best scenic views.
