Smith Ridge Campground is well-maintained and clean, with friendly and helpful volunteer hosts who enhance the overall experience. Many guests appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, spacious sites, and the campground's natural beauty, making it an ideal retreat for families. However, some reviewers noted issues such as limited cell service, grassy areas needing maintenance, and the need for updated facilities.

We had a very pleasant experience during our 4th stay at Smith Ridge campground. One thing of note: in "A" section, the timbers used to contain soil at the campsites are well past their good life and should be replaced. improved leveling of the sites could be done at the same time. We were in site 22 and there was poison ivy about the water spigot.
