Sure wish you still had a campground host that is more accessible. The host you had last year used to ride around and give the kids pop-cycles and sell pizza. Since it went all volunteer you hardly see them.

Love Holmes Bend one of my favorite camping destinations however I feel like having just volunteers is not effective with patrolling.

It was a nice week. The area was nice although the grass needed cutting. It's just one of our favorite places.

People didn’t abide by rules. All drive extremely too fast.
Driving thru grass to get from C loop to D loop.
Too many people on each site. Campers backed in on grass, too many tents on one site.
Just our first visit with out a host/hostess.
All in all, camping was good.
We were there 6 nights and never left the campground, and only saw a Corp vehicle one time. The lady that works at the corp office was very nice and helpful.

We like HolmsBend. Have been here before. Good setup. However, future campers need to be sure to bring an extra hose for water. Otherwise, good place to camp. And people should be aware there is a shortage of help and be prepared to take care of themselves somewhat. Patience.
