the park was very clean and the managers were very friendly and out going. The park could use some updating and expansion. Very little places to park boats. There were non-electric areas closed. Those would be great as water and electric sites. Why do we have areas closed when parks are so busy.

This would be excellent if we didn't get so much crap about parking. Lighten up!

We love this campground. It's kept clean, most of the sites are in complete shade, and the staff is usually friendly. We drive extra to this part of the lake because we love Holmes Bend Campground and Marina. We got a lot of grief about parking this time. No need to be so strict on this policy when no grounds are being damaged and nothing is being obstructed.

We love Holmes bend it isnβt our favorite and has been for over 20+ years. The major downside this year was the back loop that is one way only was not enforced or recognized by drivers or bike riders, so many accidents happened and even more were barely avoided. Also several smokers, who for some odd reason, decided to smoke in the bathrooms which is a 1st. Another 1st was the extreme amount of dogs, no problem with them, but walking them to another persons campsite and letting them do their business without cleaning up after them is where I draw the line. I was very happy to see out of the 2 weeks that we stayed the campground was full mostly every weekend reminded me of the 1990βs when we camped. Hopefully our future visits the road signs and flow will be more enforced as it always has been previously that is the most concerning to me.

We've been coming here for years and love it! Most sites have lots of shade. My kids love going to the marina to feed the carp and bluegill. I drive 1.5 hrs from home and pass up many campgrounds just to reach our second home at Holmes Bend!!
