Showers never warmed up, and were filthy where it looks like campers were washing out the sand from their suits from the lake. Dumpsters were full. However the electric site hook ups were newer and worked well. No water hook ups. Please replace the toilet roll dispensers as it's impossible to get a decent serving of TP out of them. But you can't beat the price with the Federal senior pass.

We love Dog Creek Campground. Number one, the restrooms and shower houses are clean. Well maintained. While we like some sites better than others, there is really not a bad site there. B31 is our favorite but like several others also. I like B loop, but A loop has some nice ones, depending if your wanting lakeview sites or shade sites. Go check it out, you won’t be disappointed! And yes we have 3 kids who enjoy it as well.

Still love the campground, but can't seem to figure out what the deal is with all the golf carts? I thought golf carts, ATV's and UTV's were prohibited inside all USACE campgrounds except for personnel and volunteers for work. Its the reason I got rid of mine, as we mainly stay at USACE sites. I have stayed at some that did not even allow my grand kids electric scooters, but have been woken up here WELL after 10pm "quiet time" by loud people driving around the A loop in golf carts. I would suggest getting one of the longer back in sites close to the bath house if you want to get any sleep. If your by the water in the A loop (A6, A9, A11, A12 or A13) your camper is going to sit about 4 feet from the road so don't plan on getting any sleep until their batteries go dead or they run out of gas.
