Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

We were very pleased with our campsite! The campground was very clean and quiet! We only stayed one night so I can't offer any recommendations for things to do or places to eat.

Spot was easy to find and easy to pull into. A little farther off the highway than I wanted.

Just...WOW! This place seems to be well known and used by the locals, as most of the folks I met were within a 2hr drive, and I can see why. Open spaces, lake front access, swimming, hiking, clean restrooms, fresh vegetable stand, etc. Only thing I would recommend is to be aware that a couple spots have NO shade. It was empty enough that I was able to log on and change my reservation to a spot that was, so all was good.

Dog Creek is an excellent very quiet and family oriented campground. It has a beach for your family’s enjoyment. The volunteers are excellent especially the Lush’s. They are constantly trying to make the campground better for everyone. Mr. Lush keeps the beach sand in good shape and he has also cleaned a short hiking trail for everyone to enjoy. They are always ready to help anyone needing assistance. The campground has alot of shade and several water sites, but basically you can see the lake from probably 90% of the sites. Overall, I haven’t found a better campground anywhere in this area. Thanks guys for a job well done. Your work is greatly appreciated.

Campground was well kept and quiet for a holiday weekend. Was able to take my kayak on a nice loop pass to see the sunrise. I will be back here for sure!
