Dog Creek Campground was super nice. Sites were roomy and level. Our site was shady . Restroom and showers were well maintained.

Dog Creek Campground is praised for its beautiful, clean, and spacious sites, along with a friendly atmosphere and proximity to Nolin Lake, making it a popular choice for visitors. Many reviewers enjoyed the quiet environment, well-maintained facilities, and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as swimming and watching sunrises. However, some concerns were raised about restroom ventilation, occasional inconsiderate behavior from other campers, and the need for better campground supervision.

Nice place. Clean restrooms. Great lake view. However, their power was wonky and we could not run our AC because it kept resetting which resulted in us not being able to use our AC on our way home. Our other electrical items that run on USB cables like phone charging and portable fans were plugged into a surge protector which got alarmingly hot in the middle of the night, stopped running our fans, and my husband's phone became very hot too. This could have become a dangerous situation if I had not awakened and moved everything to our portable generator instead.

What’s the point in having park attendants that don’t check on the campers well being and see if they need Anything? Anything could happen and no one would know because you never see the park attendants on the grounds or making rounds around the campground
